Teaching background: Elaina has been teaching raw food courses and giving talks worldwide since 1998. She was a Chef/Instructor at the renowned Living Light Culinary Arts Institute where she was on staff from 2000-2010. Elaina has been invited to teach classes all over the world, and has taught courses and provided raw, vegan meals at many events and retreats, including those for David Wolfe, Dr. Gabriel Cousens, M.D. of The Tree of Life, Living Light Culinary Arts Institute and many more.

Chris Whitcoe is passionate about the awakening of consciousness, raw food nutrition and the emergence of Corporate America as a vehicle for global change. In service to this overarching wholistic vision he has created a diversified life in which he integrates his passions with the largest impact possible. Chris is the co-owner of PureJoyAcademy.com where he brings nutrition information to the curriculum which takes learning about raw cheffing to a whole new level that has never been taught at a culinary school before.

In 2005, Chris took a hiatus from a successful corporate life to fully embrace his love for the raw food/consciousness movement by pursuing a Masters Degree in Live Food Nutrition under Gabriel Cousens, M.D. at the Tree of Life Rejuvenation Center.
Chris also dedicates his abundant raw energy and expertise as an advanced software engineer to Corporate Consulting, LLC, his company dedicated to creating advanced technical solutions and premier internet presence for his clients.
Ultimately, Chris’s greatest role is as a father to 3 vibrant children who truly understand the value of living foods and spiritual awareness.
Reyna is the Kitchen Director at all of our Pure Joy Academy Trainings. Reyna, also a Living Light and Pure Joy cultured Gourmet Raw Food Chef/Instructor, developed her spirited love affair with orthomolecular medicine, au naturale and holistic healing on her journey to self-healing. Diagnosed with PolyCystic OvarianSyndrome (PCOS) at the age of 16, after an operation to remove an ovarian cyst, she constantly suffered from PCOS’ myriad of symptoms and health risk. On this journey, she has found threading through the gateway of conscious eating, leads to conscious living and conscious beings.
In her dedication to support people heal with raw-vegan-living food mother nature intended and father sky environment, she is now devoting her energy at Pure Joy Academy with Elaina Love and Chris Whitcoe, as Kitchen Director. She traverses around the world with the crew to retreat centers to facilitate the flow of food preparation, charms people with raw food demonstrations, plays the conscious language game influenced by Chris Whitcoe, and supports other Pure Joy Graduate Instructors who have their own businesses as part of Pure Joy Academy.
Asha is a co-partner of Divine SUNergy Food, a company whose vision is to restore an authentic life to wholeness, to revise an advocacy of wellness, and to reclaim an attitude of wisdom by promoting a plant-based diet and consciousness that champions the power of raw food nutrition as a means to gain clarity of purpose for people to beautifully evolve into their highest potentials and expressions of themselves as divine beings of light and love – for the love of a greener and sustainable planet. Under this company, she also co-manages Leaf Kitchen, a raw food grocery that sells raw food ingredients, tools and equipment.
Asha has been managing and teaching in her own school called Creative Space, which offers a holistic curriculum for children ages 2-7 with a focus on movement and nutrition as essential ingredients in an educational set-up. She serves 100% raw food to the children everyday.
Since last year, Asha has been giving a series of creative community raw food preparation workshops called The Lighter Side of Raw, whose mission is to empower people to infuse sun energy into their food and to educate them about various aspects of wellness. Her creative teaching strategies were influenced by the Pure Joy courses as well as her own experiences as a progressive educator.
Apart from being a raw food chef and early childhood educator, Asha dances her way to different places to practice and learn more about her other passions – dance, yoga, drumming, art and culture – and all other ways in which creativity can be experienced to its fullest!

Priscilla Soligo is the founder of Rawthentic Food, an educational and catering company dedicated to organic plant-based raw food health in Hong Kong. She is a fully certified gourmet raw food chef and certified detox instructor from Pure Joy Culinary Academy (USA) and has trained directly with world master raw food chef Elaina Love. She has also personally trained with Sydney Australia’s most prominent raw food chef, Julie Mitsios of Conscious Choice.
Priscilla completed her Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood Development from the University of Southern Queensland, Australia along with her Raw Food Nutritional Studies from The Body Mind Institute Canada, which combine her love of children and raw food together. She is a raw chef recipe contributor on a global platform to premier online raw food sites, as well as a regular contributor to Hong Kong’s popular parent and child magazine, Playtimes and continues to be published in magazines in Hong Kong and the United States. She is an avid supporter of local organic farming and is currently producing her first e-book. Best of all, Priscilla is a wife and a mother to an adorable toddler.

Manuela Scalini, born and raised in Brazil, is an international raw food chef and travels the world teaching raw food workshops, catering retreats and consulting for raw food restaurants in SE Asia, USA and Latin America. When she is not travelling, she is offering classes, day retreats and working as a private chef out of Marin County, California.
A Certified Raw Food Chef from Living Light Culinary Arts Institute, and Certified Yoga Instructor, Manuela intwines her Brazilian heritage into her culinary delights, creating an unique exotic experience. As a world traveler, Manuela is an expert in tropical flavors and cuisine. One of her many passions is creating beautiful gourmet living food dishes using local and seasonal flavors of all the places she travels to. Drawing inspiration in the freshest ingredients to nourish and energize the body, mind and soul.
Manuela began her raw food journey five years ago when she was searching for an alternative way to heal inflammation in her body after a snowboarding accident. She joined a 21 day raw food detox and never looked back. Her body instantly began to heal and function in its most optimum level, and she significantly noticed a huge shift in her vitality, clarity and mood. What was at first just a diet, became a lifestyle.
